Veterans for Wildlife would like to invite you to our first ever UK Golf Day and Gala Dinner hosted by Darren & Anna Gough. We would be delighted if you could join us on 2 November at the Royal Blackheath Golf Club and The Grange Hotel Tower Bridge.
In Africa every 8 hours one rhino is killed for its horn and every 15 minutes one elephant is killed for its tusks. The illegal trade in wildlife is now the fourth largest criminal enterprise following drug smuggling, counterfeiting, and human trafficking. The trade is 26 per cent higher than previously estimated, worth as much as USD $23 billion per year. Veterans for Wildlife are working to aid in the prevention of wildlife crime by empowering veterans to support, mentor, and train rangers and entities on the front line of wildlife crime prevention. Rhinos and Elephants are being killed faster than they are reproducing meaning that if something is not done to stop wildlife crime these species will be extinct in the next decade. Veterans for Wildlife needs your help to prevent this from happening.

Money raised from this event will be used to establish a Ranger Benevolent Fund which will be used to fund training for the rangers looking after these animals as well as provide financial assistance to rangers families when the rangers are injured or tragically killed.

Join us for a memorable day and evening at two amazing venues and help us raise funds to assist in the prevention of wildlife crime whilst also empowering veterans.
