Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I’m raising money for Veterans for Wildlife because I believe the charity does great work for two causes close to my heart; conserving wildlife and supporting veterans. (Being a veteran myself)

STATISTICS:

. ONE MILLION elephants have been killed since 1970

. Nearly FOURTY THOUSAND tigers have been killed since 1970

. Black Rhino population down 97.6% since 1960

. ONLY ONE THOUSAND black Gorillas left in the wild

. Lion population down 43% in 21 years

Veterans for Wildlife is an international charity committed to the protection of wildlife and the world’s critically endangered species. By deploying highly-skilled and experienced former service personnel, Veterans for Wildlife aims to play a key role in conservation and the prevention of wildlife crime.

As a people-focused organisation, Veterans for Wildlife has two primary objectives:
- Supporting conservation entities and rangers at the grass roots level.
- The empowerment and development of military veterans.

By facilitating critical capacity-building programmes, Veterans for Wildlife aims to develop the skill-set and operational effectiveness of anti-poaching rangers. These programmes offer a unique opportunity to veterans, transitioning into civilian life, to continue to make a positive impact on society.

It’s a great cause, and your donation will help them achieve even more. Donating is easy, quick and secure.

Please share with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter – and elsewhere – so I can reach my target and together we can help Veterans for Wildlife do more. Thank you!

I don't want to grow up and have these animals be things we can only find online.
