Our Mission

We leverage the skillsets held by the veteran community to build strategy and capacity with our conservation partners in order to protect wildlife.

About Veterans For Wildlife

Veterans For Wildlife is an international charity dedicated to ending the global illegal wildlife trade. We work in partnership with governments and NGOs to empower Rangers and local communities to conserve nature.

Our core focus is to build the capacity of anti-poaching units who work on the frontline of conservation, through training and longterm mentoring programmes.

Veterans For Wildlife was founded in 2016 by former British military veterans with a passion for wildlife. Our volunteers and staff consist of people with a range of life experiences from previous service in the armed forces, law enforcement, medical professions, border control and anti-poaching organisations from across the world.
